We have added several new galleries to our Photos page from our time in Mexico. In addition, check out our July 6th “Hiking to Lava Flows on Volcano Pacaya” and June 19th “Giant Sea Turtles in Tulum” postings and pictures below. We have been busy the last week visiting Chad’s friend Paul in Tejutla, Guatemala. Chad and Paul both know each other from high school and college. Paul is now a Peace Corps volunteer here in Guatemala. We really enjoyed meeting with Paul in Tejutla and then meeting back up with him and his friend Amy in Guatemala City for a road trip out to Rio Dulce and Livingston. In the interim we also spent some quality time with Maureen, another Peace Corps volunteer in a Guatemalan highlands aldea (small village). We really enjoyed these times together with our friends and hope to get some photos and blogs on the website soon.

Hey Chad and Ana, It was so much fun spending time with you in Belize and Guatemala! I wish my trip had been longer but it was nice to get away for the time that I did. I wish you all the best in your world travels and hope that your trip around the world keeps getting better and better! It’s a big world after all!

Hi there! Thanks for calling tonight, it was sure nice hearing your voices again!! I know mom will be bummed that she missed your call but hopefully you can catch her sometime this week. It’s nice hearing about your adventures!! Have fun your last few days in Guatemala!! And Chad, I hope you can shake that cold!
